Hi,

Did you have this working at all? Curious to know what os as I'm getting a linkage error when creating LibZFS on ubuntu. Any tips appreciated.

Hi, what sort of issues are you seeing? I've added Travis tests yesterday, so see (in my own fork at least) that this codebase builds with mvn package for several JDKs available on Ubuntu. Also builds work for me on OpenIndiana (descendant of OpenSolaris) and Debian 9.

Note also that getting mvn test to pass may be a bigger effort, as you'd need a ZFS-aware OS (quite a few now) and a prepared expected root dataset with permissions for your test-running account to manage, or run it as root. And probably do all this in a dedicated VM, just in case it eats your data ;)
