com.apple.finder CreateDesktop set to true and still happening, now I'm at v7.1.4

It's happens randomly. I think it's related to "sonoma cursor issue" https://www.google.com/search?q=sonoma+cursor+issue and having second monitor

This bug occurs occasionally when my MacBook is connected to an external display, with the external display set as main. Disconnecting and reconnecting to my USB-C hub temporarily resolves it.

happy to dump logs if that would help.

Not sure if related, but used to experience this when using the focus on hover feature back on version 5.
