previous/next keys not working on M3 mac

Hi, I'm trying to bind the media keys on my M3 Pro running Sonoma 14.4 with skhd v0.3.9. Unfortunately it seems like only the play button is working as expected.

Also strange, skhd -o doesn't show output for any of the media keys, but the play remapping works as expected... Is that expected/known?

Not sure if there's any other info I can provide but please lmk if there is.
