The TUD style often leads to the LaTeX error "Too many math alphabets used" when one tries to use, e.g., \mathsc. I do not currently know how to get smallcaps in this style at all. Having \mathsc available would be nice for complexity classes.

You could use xelatex or lualatex instead of pdflatex. I would prefer the latter, but compilation will be slower. Also, to make proper use of lualatex some changes in the LaTeX document are necessary.

Use LuaLaTeX instead of pdfLaTeX to build the slides. This fixes knowsys#5.
Use latexmk instead of relying on two runs sufficing to build the documents.
