Build doesn't pick up gradle even though it is present, tries using ant instead and fails #1320

I am trying to test python-for-android for a python 3 PySDL2 application. However, the build fails:

buildfail.txt

And gradle is actually present:

Update: instead of the latest regular version on pip, now I tried this version: https://github.com/kivy/python-for-android/archive/master.zip - and that one works! 🎉
