[BUG] Not fully visible "PORT SETTINGS" #252
Comments

Thanks, I didn't see this slider neither. Pressing Shift + scroll works too to scroll horizontally (like in any other app). |
The inner window doesn't use the available width and the user experience is very bad. This issue exists with other extensions, for example: So maybe the issue should be reported to GNOME extensions or GNOME itself. There? https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/issues/?search=extensions&sort=created_date&state=opened&first_page_size=20 Update: I added an issue: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/issues/6019 |
I do not even see the full first column because my device names are soooooo long. And of course I also missed the invisible scrollbar on the bottom and thought I will never be able to change my settings again. Now that I know about that scrollbar this issue is not that high prio for me anymore. 😄 |
I was in the same boat. About to request the functionality when I by chance noticed the scrollbar at the bottom. |
BUG: Not fully visible "PORT SETTINGS". Cannot hide unused devices as they cannot be accessed. Window can be resized, but the content view would not change, so only the port titles are visible, but check boxes/radio buttons cannot be accessed.
Extension: Sound Input & Output device choser
Install method: extension.gnome.org
Extension version: 43
OS: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS x86_64
DE: GNOME 42.2
WM: Mutter
