[BUG] could not unhide a device #241

bug

If I click to hide a device I'm not able to un-hide anymore. From the screenshot, I cannot un-hide these devices.

Extension Information

  • Shell Version: 42
  • Extension Version: 43
  • Install method: extension.gnome.org
  • OS: Ubuntu 22.04

Error / Journal messages
it does not output any message.

now I have used dconf-editor to clean the settings, but again I am able to hide but not to unhide

I have the same issue. To reset the settings run dconf reset -f /org/gnome/shell/extensions/sound-output-device-chooser/.

Thank you for the information how to reset the settings. 💯

I have the same issue. I think on the right side of "Hide" there is another column for "unhide".
But I can't scroll to the right side. Also not with arrow keys. Or by resize the single columns.
Maybe because I have a 21:9 widescreen monitor??

Please let me know if you need logs or when there is an update for the Setting GUI.

@Alex1989W nice catch! I found an old screenshot on google and it has an extra column

it kind of works now. If you guys go down with the mouse, a scroll-bar appear!
