These are simple scripts that are incredibly useful. I have been scripting for years and this concept never occurred to me so I wanted to make sure others saw it. These aren't exactly global, in Keyboard Maestro I narrow the global scope to certain apps as in the following screen shot.
Note "Available in these applications" and the shortcut keys assigned.
