The install manifest uses two legacy facts in the base url for a Red Hat Family OS:
baseurl => "${influxdb::repo_url}/centos/${facts['operatingsystemmajrelease']}/${facts['architecture']}/stable",
This should be changed to ${facts['os']['release']['major']} to keep up with changes in Puppet 8 (and up):
baseurl => "${influxdb::repo_url}/centos/${facts['os']['release']['major']}/${facts['os']['architecture']}/stable",
