The objective of this project is to develop an interactive HR dashboard aimed at empowering HR managers with comprehensive insights into workforce data. This dashboard will provide both high-level summaries for quick overviews and detailed employee records for in-depth analysis, enabling HR teams to uncover key metrics related to employee demographics, performance, retention, and overall workforce trends. This approach will support strategic decision-making, improve workforce planning, and enhance employee engagement across the organization.

The workforce comprises 8,950 employees, with 7,984 active and 966 terminated, spread across seven departments and eight locations, primarily headquartered in New York. Operations is the largest department, and gender distribution is 54% male and 46% female. Bachelor's degree holders form the largest educational group, and performance is strongest among those with bachelor’s and PhD degrees. Female employees with advanced degrees tend to out-earn males, with top earners in finance roles and lowest earners in HR roles.

Departmental Distribution: The company consists of seven departments, with the Operations department employing the highest number of staff (2,429), while the Finance and HR departments have the fewest employees, with 389 and 152, respectively. Terminated employees make up less than 3% in each department.

Geographic Spread: New York, serving as the headquarters, employs the majority with 6,270 employees, while the remaining 2,680 employees are distributed across seven additional branches nationwide.

Gender Composition: The workforce is comprised of 54% male and 46% female employees. Among both demographics, 89% are active employees, and 11% are terminated.

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree holders make up the largest educational group with 5,416 employees, followed by those with a high school background (1,819), master’s degrees (1,237), and PhDs (478).

Age Group and Education: The age group 35-44 has the highest concentration of employees with bachelor’s degrees (1,661) and also the highest number of total employees hired (2,764) across all education levels.

Performance by Education Level: Employees with bachelor’s degrees show the strongest performance, with 2,706 classified as "Good," while PhD holders demonstrate excellence with 228 in the "Excellent" category. High school graduates are primarily classified as needing improvement (618) or satisfactory (578).

Salary and Gender Disparities: Female employees with school and bachelor’s level education earn between $61,000 and $66,000 on average, with male employees earning approximately $9,000 more at the bachelor’s level. However, for master’s and PhD holders, females earn an average of $86,000 to $93,000, surpassing their male counterparts, who average around $80,000.

Highest and Lowest Salaries: Finance Managers have the highest average salary at $125,000, with an average age of 49, while HR Assistants earn the lowest average salary at $60,000, with an average age of 37.
