I'm setting this up as remote_theme for building with github pages, but it doesn't build you public folder by default.

The public folder is missing from _site

As far as I can tell, this is because your static folder is called "public" instead of "assets".

I guess this is because it doesn't conform to the recommended Jekyll folder structure for themes: https://jekyllrb.com/docs/themes/#assets

I can't really promise anything, but would you consider a pull request if I came up with one?

For anyone who stumbles across this in the future, i managed to modify and create a working GitHub Page from a fork of this repo: https://github.com/mendhak/BlackDoc.

You can use this repo to create a working BlackDoc Themed GitHub Page: https://github.com/Robert-Zacchigna/BlackDoc

Demo here: https://robert-zacchigna.github.io/BlackDoc/
