Summary

The chat input field loses its border when theme is switched. The border is maintained only in the theme in which the JupyterLab was originally launched with.

Reproduce

  1. Launch JupyterLab in light theme
  2. Switch theme to dark
  3. Border on the input field is missing
  4. The problem can be reproduced by starting with the dark theme, and then switching to light theme
