Looking at #1401, #1677, #1545, this issue should have been resolved, but it is not, at least not on my dell xps 13 laptop with ubuntu 19.10 and anaconda.
The problem is the following: when selecting text with the left mouse button at one place and use a middle-click on another place, the text should get copied (at least in recent linux systems). This does not work with jupyter notebook, neither for coying or pasting, which is - well - rather annoying.
The output of 'conda list' attached below should be sufficient to describe the installed packages.
