Seems that the "privacy" settings in the user profile for Pro Accounts are being ignored, and I can't change fiddles to private, either.

Oh, just realized, I can set fiddles private using the collections page as a workaround. But the user profile settings don't apply when a new fiddle is created or edited.

I'll have a look into that. Thanks for reporting

Follow up issues:

  1. Forking a private fiddle doesn't automatically remain private any longer.
  2. Cloudflare is only remembering my session for 5 minutes or so. After that, I can't save fiddles. I must open a new tab to https://jsfiddle.net/, reauthorize cloudflare, and then I can save. But after so doing, saving a private fiddle makes it public.
  3. The only way to make fiddles private is to do so from the dashboard.
