It might be an issue with Hoarcekat (which I'm using to run these tests), or something else, but if I change this to if true then, then it works. But then I'm surprised other stuff isn't.

Looks like _G.NOCOLOR = true works if it's inside setupFilesAfterEnv. I think it's because the errors are being collected within their own fenv, which doesn't have the NOCOLOR.
