My Minecraft window keeps losing focus. Everything will be working fine, then I can't type into text fields, and certain button commands don't work.

I find it usually happens when I try to hit the menu button to exit my inventory or a GUI. I'll try to exit, nothing happens, I try again, and it exits, then I see my desktop has lost focus for Minecraft, and the start menu is open as if I'd hit the Windows key.

It's not a huge, game breaking problem. Hit the Steam menu button to see your desktop, click on the minecraft window, hit the Steam button to close.
Sometimes I can go for hours without it happening, and sometimes, it happens with every effective ESC press. And when you're in your base, fetching ingredients from chests, and moving between umpteen machines, crafting stations, and furnaces, you're hitting ESC every few seconds...

ctrl-esc opens the start menu so it sounds like the ctrl key is getting stuck pressed

ah, yeah, I forgot about this, but sometimes when I go back to my desktop, hitting the scroll wheel on my mouse makes my desktop icons change size. As if I were holding Ctrl.

But I don't have Ctrl bound to any buttons on the Vive controllers, and my real keyboard is fine, so I'm not sure where it's coming from.

prolly some kind of malfunction in our java keyboard robot. or a bug in the robot itself.
