First step to modularization (#2630) is switch to javax.inject to the new jakarta.inject-api.
Unfortunately Guice does not yet support jakarta.inject: google/guice#1383
I put in a temporary hack for now. Knowing Google I'm sure Dagger probably doesn't support jakarta inject either however I'm fairly sure that doesn't matter as Dagger generates code.
