EBM supports up to four connecting clients (or at least DSLmonitor implies it) by selecting a 'port' to communicate over.
I think this only affects the handshake.
Once done we may be able to run the one shot EBM read tool whilst the SNMP subagent is running.

Nope, if you have my code connecting on (what I assume is) Port 1 and ask DSLmonitor to use Port 2, it still disconnects you.
...so Port probably does nothing, or DSLmonitor may not even implement it correctly.
