Ideally we'd learn a PSF that varies by wavelength, not just band. Apparently, for a particular filter band, a very blue star does't look the same as a very red star that contributes the same number of photons to the image.

He convinced me too. Also to run on DECaLS I'd rather learn the psf than try integrate other people's stand-alone psf code. UQ may be more pressing for now though.
