Otherwise a machine > 1 day old will check in with Windows Update and potentially consume lots of memory/CPU on first boot.

Set HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU\NoAutoUpdate to 1 during customization.
