Last update panel

In another discussion I referenced a 'time of last data update' panel that I had added. This lets me see that the data I'm looking at is current. If I have the dashboard set to auto-refresh then the value updates every time the dashboard refreshes.

It uses the 'singlestat-math-panel'. I don't recall if I had to add that to Grafana. Also, I am not using the standard install scripts, so the UID for the datasource is probably not correct for a standard installation. You'll have to select the correct data source after importing if you want to use this panel.

I might have missed something but I have a few problems:

• InfluxDB setting had to be changed:

to

  "datasource": "InfluxDB",

Also, I'm seeing this:

Which appear to be due to this:

"format": "dateTimeAsUSNoDateIfToday"

I can remove that and get a number (not date formatted). I'll do some more investigation.

Have you tried this again under the new version of Grafana?
