I came across your issue, this fixes it. Just add a name to your component.

Old:

export default function() {
  return (
    <button
      css={css`
        color: hotpink;
      `}
    >
      I should be hot pink!
    </button>
  );
}

New

export default function CssPropButton() {
  return (
    <button
      css={css`
        color: hotpink;
      `}
    >
      I should be hot pink!
    </button>
  );
}
