Now that code formatting exists in the editor, the opposite (code minification) would be very useful.

Shrinko-8 implements good PICO-8 code minification in Python, maybe that could be used for reference:

Consider using a tool such as JavaScripthon to directly convert the shrinko-8 sources to usable JS: https://github.com/metapensiero/metapensiero.pj
