Help Installing Libcamera and help with touch support

Hey y'all very new to the linux world and I'm on mint as its the flavor of linux I'm used to. I know to get/help get my webcams working on my sp6 I need libcamera but when I say I need a linux for dummies explanation, I don't think its far from the truth. I can understand basics but I can't figure out what I need to do to get lib camera installed. I'm also not quite sure how to get autorotate and touch to be fully functional(cant scroll with touch). Any help for a newbie that wants to grow in this area would be appreciated.

Just looking to follow up on this. Would anyone be willing to help go over the issues of the webcams not working as well as autorotate?
