Microsoft Surface Go 2nd Series - Battery drain after shutdown

Hi, I am currently running the following kernel:

Linux mdm-surface 6.3.3-surface #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Wed May 17 20:49:28 UTC 2023 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

on a Surface Go 2 with Ubuntu 22.04LTS.

After complete shutdown the machine drain battery.

Any idea how to fix this issue ?

I really want to know too. I’ve got same Surface and wasn’t happy with Windows performance so installed ChromeOS Flex. It ran brilliantly but when powered down the battery was going flat. A real deal breaker. So then tried Ubuntu and saw the same battery issue. Switched back to windows 11 and issue gone. So what is it about Linux OS’es on this device? I don’t want to have to use windows.
