Hello, I went through the instructions for the Linux-Surface. However, I can not use the touchscreen. I see that the rules were added and match what you have listed. When I run the Command uname -r, the following output shows up: 5.3.0-40-generic. The distribution that I installed on this surface pro 4 is Mint. I am not sure what information you need from me, I am sure that this is just operator error.

Hey @71skylark

You are able to solve this issue by going to Advance Options when in GRUB Menu and selecting the 5.3.0-40-generic-linux-surface option and thereby able to access all the features installed.

Hello @bharat8 Unfortunately, the only options i have are Linux Mint 19.3 Cinnamon, with Linux 5.3.0-40-Generic. None have Linux-Surface.

@71skylark
Maybe there are some issues with your installation.

You can either try re-installing surface-kernel from this repository or you can follow the instructions on this link as this repository is more actively maintained.
