Aliases can only be created via the context menu if an alias already exists. By right-clicking on this, it is possible to call “Create Alias”. However, if the folder/device/channel is empty, it is not possible to create an alias via the context menu after right-clicking on it. Then you have to use the “+” in the menu bar.

The label is wrong by aliases. It must be "Edit alias".

The Idea is you are going to the state, for which you want to create an alias and call the context menu item there.

Good morning, I think you misunderstood my thought. It was not about editing an alias but about creating it. Creating is possible with the + button from all levels in the alias structure, but only via the context menu when clicking on an already created state/alias - because only then does “Create Alias” appear. My idea would be to add the “Create Alias” to all levels in the context menu. You are right though - I just realized that “Create Alias” opens the edit function :)
