In the earliest days of Stable Diffusion, Dr. Lincoln Stein (@lstein) started a small command line interface to run the original Stable Diffusion model. With a groundswell of community support, the tool evolved into a full-blown creative application centered around one idea - That creatives should be empowered with good open-sourced software in the age of AI.

Since then, Invoke has evolved into a creative AI platform redefining how open sourced software and businesses get built - We're working with artists and creatives to help them understand the evolution of intellectual property, develop new skillsets that extend their creative power, and create an ecosystem where creativity can thrive. We're also working with businesses and enterprises to build a business to sustain our mission, providing an enterprise-grade platform and professional services to help businesses develop and own their own creative IP.

Our team believes in the power of open source, and that the advent of AI requires a different approach to building technology.

The community sits at the center of what we do. The features we work on and the path ahead for our software is directly informed by the feedback of creatives and our developer community, as well as ideas/research shared by open-sourced researchers who share our perspective that technology should be open and permissively licensed at its core.
