Barcode automatically generating

Problem statement

Barcode not generating automatically when creating part.

Suggested solution

When generating a PART, it would be nice to have it scan a field and have a barcode generate by default/checkbox (preferably a EAN barcode).

As to how this is done I am unsure, whether it scans the IPN field in the main part or under the "Initial supplier's data" Field box when creating part and references the SKU or MPN?

Describe alternatives you've considered

QR code is not suitable as we use physical products and EAN barcodes is default on them.
