From 8f6122776789b7801b7379511bc7e7b33035cb98 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Lasse Karstensen Date: Mon, 10 Dec 2018 17:02:59 +0100 Subject: [PATCH] Increase varnishstat time allotment. With a large amount of VCLs loaded, varnishstat can take slightly longer to run. This is not a complete fi, but should suffice in 98% of cases. See https://github.com/varnishcache/varnish-cache/issues/2712#issuecomment-445864700 for some background. --- plugins/inputs/varnish/varnish.go | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/plugins/inputs/varnish/varnish.go b/plugins/inputs/varnish/varnish.go index f1c7039710e3b..f30bead3bac2f 100644 --- a/plugins/inputs/varnish/varnish.go +++ b/plugins/inputs/varnish/varnish.go @@ -78,7 +78,7 @@ func varnishRunner(cmdName string, UseSudo bool, InstanceName string) (*bytes.Bu var out bytes.Buffer cmd.Stdout = &out - err := internal.RunTimeout(cmd, time.Millisecond*200) + err := internal.RunTimeout(cmd, time.Millisecond*500) if err != nil { return &out, fmt.Errorf("error running varnishstat: %s", err) }
