Explicitly prevent any data reload after a form submission or page visit

Currently, i pass a non-existent prop name to the only option of the router, for example:

form.delete(route, {
    only: ['nothing'] // or any non-existent prop name
})

But it feels like a hack. Is there some other way to do it? if not, would it be possible to implement something like :

form.delete(route, {
    noReload: true
})
