Please, use only colors from Material Design and don't use dark blue on a black background. Probably some more colors need to be removed/replaces as the contrast with a dark background is not very readable.

See https://www.google.com/design/spec/style/color.html#color-color-palette and http://www.materialui.co/colors

Also check the app icon if it complies with Material Design. Not only in colors but also usage of shadow. See https://design.google.com/icons/ and https://materialdesignicons.com/

Considering the icon was generated using Roman Neurik's material asset generator, I'd say it's a moot point there.

On all other fronts: the colors for the default color scheme are from yaaic. Yes, yaaic changed their colors to me "material", but I'm not terribly fond of it. I let the default from yaaic when I forked stand: people liked it enough to complain when I first changed it.

I chose base16 as a color scheme set because I personally like it. If you feel there needs to be a few schemes pulled from the Material pallete, be my guest, it's a simple format.

Ah https://romannurik.github.io/AndroidAssetStudio/icons-launcher.html Well, not all created with that adheres to the Material Design guidelines.

Is theme_base16_google intended for Material Design?

Also I note that transparancy is not always used in the colors. I will think about creatin a Material Design theme.

(Note to self, automatically map to https://www.google.com/design/spec/style/color.html#color-color-palette as start.)
