Can not reproduce with torbrowser on Linux. Does this happen with
non-torbrowser Firefox on Mac, too?

hmh - downloaded the tor browser and although the page looks quite messy there, the '+' button works. Is there a tor-plugin for firefox or a special tor-firefox browser? Didn't fine anything that is compatible with the latest firefox…

As far as I know the torbrowser is just firefox with some addons and a
wrapper script that starts tor prior to starting firefox.
