Hello,

Is there any reason for custom_endpoint_enabled being enforced to true?

Hey @pielu,

Yes because provider configuration must be known and valid at plan time, see hashicorp/terraform#2430.
Otherwise it isn't possible to create OpenSearch resources right after creating the cluster.

That makes sense. I guess having conditional providers for when no APIs are used is not really an option.
