Recently, I found that photos which is downloaded from icloudpd are different from what they are downloaded from iCloud.
the original pic is 16:9 in iCloud, but 4:3 in icloudpd
Filter effect of iPhone exists in iCloud, but removed in icloudpd
It likes icloudpd download an "Original" version of the photo.
icloudpd downloads original image. IIUC any modification to the photo on idevices is recorded as separate change keeping original intact. IIRC portraits were saved by idevices as originals+editions too.
I think we need to download latest version of the photo by default and then original as an option. Multiple edits may create multiple local files due to de-duping logic though.
