Do I need to use this config for CRA based project?

In Typescript CRA template, eslint rules work with .ts and .tsx files, does that mean I don't need to use this typescript config for airbnb? 🤔

Probably I'm not reasoning correctly when asking this question in this project, but suddenly maybe someone solved a similar problem in their projects, it's very interesting to hear your opinion! 😮
