I am sorry to bother you.Unfortunately,I run the standalone app NCMI.exe in windows command prompt using dirlab4dct images , but it only shows that 'loading image has done',it seems that there is no output such as pooled_NCMI_r0.bin in result folder? I don't know how to solve this problem.

Your point is right. The code was initially built in Windows 7. Unfortunately, I cannot at this moment debug the C++ code, but I added a code snippet to Functions/EXE/NCMI_Pseudocode.
The main logic located at ncmi.cpp in the function evaluate_MIbox_image. The first four elements of the outMI are the MI features used in the publication.
The same logic can be implemented in python, but it could be slower because of an intensive loop over all voxels.
