Tasks

  1. Familiarize yourself with the simulations as well as the cover traffic incentives, both relevant links to our Yellow Paper and the Python simulation can be found in this draft report
  2. Clean up & refactor the simulation code so that it can be more easily consumed by others who want to try evaluating their own strategy
  3. Compile a technical Medium post that is geared for a general technical audience in the Web3 space without prior knowledge of HOPR conveying the key results of the simulation being
3.1 assessment of dominance of a strategy - how was it assessed and what is a dominant strategy? Present this along with appropriate figures which likely requires you to re-run (parts of) the simulation
3.2 implications of the strategy on the network - to what sort of topoligies would a dominant strategy lead? Ideally the network remains relatively decentralized but a problematic outcome would be a centralization of stake distribution
