Description

Now that the third DAO experiment has concluded, we'd like to analyze the results in more depth. We'd like to model the vote using "1 token, 1 vote" instead of quadratic voting. We'd also like to assess the effect of whale accounts on the outcome, by modelling the results if we ignore the top 1, 3, 5, and 10 token holders, respectively.

Instructions for extracting data from Snapshot can be found here (the tutorial has an error: use the xDAI address in the proposal link, not the IPFS hash)

Analysis Tasks

• Compile the voting data from Snapshot
• Rerun the vote to simulate the effects of 1 token 1 vote instead of quadratic voting
• Rerun the vote without the "whale" vote(s)
