89.0 Won’t install Hassio #943
Comments
@ghitchen commented on Mar 8, 2019, 6:42 PM UTC: I have exactly the same issue trying to upgrade from 0.88.2 to 89.0 or 89.1 |
Same problem for me.
|
Removed all config files as advised from freddy-yu but with no luck! |
... bump! the problem is still here! |
Did you delete the configuration. yaml and custom_components folders? 0.89 updated the name of the custom plug-in and the settings of the trust network, which caused my update to fail! Because my configuration file is incorrect and cannot start, it will automatically roll back to 0.88. |
So my advice to you is to remove all non-automatically generated configuration files and try to update them before copying them back and troubleshooting them. |
Finally I found the problem... it was the auth_providers; the trusted-networks options it's no more used. |
This is not an issue/bug, but a feature. In case Home Assistant fails to start after an upgrade, it does a rollback. Use the Configuration Check add-on from the core add-ons in the add-on store to check out why your HA is not compatible. |
