hc generate not creating zome files

hc generate doesn’t work when I use nix-shell https://github.com/holochain/holonix/archive/master.tar.gz. I ran hc generate zomes/geospatial rust-proc and got the output:

downloading and extracting tarball from: https://github.com/holochain/rust-proc-zome-template  /archive/master.tar.gz
 > zomes/geospatial/

but it doesn’t create any zome files.
