After compiling the image, there are multiple scaled versions, how do I choose? What's the difference between each scaled version? Is there an effect between scaled versions?

Although I'm not entirely sure about this but I don't think you choose. These are all used to recognise the image at different scales, depending on how far or near you are from your target.

It seems to be the Gaussian difference of sift. You can refer to this article https://docs.opencv.org/4.x/da/df5/tutorial_py_sift_intro.html. The source code can be seen at https://github.com/hiukim/mind-ar-js/blob/master/src/image-target/detector/detector.js#L63
