did you update to macOS big sur ? cause I update Big Sur today and have a same issue....

I've changed preferences to single line for now.
Waiting for an update.

Same problem on Big Sur with a 15" MBP:

@arjunjindam, how do you change preferences to single line? I looked for it here:

But could not find that setting.

@jonleung Check In the Menubar Setting.
You need to select Temperature & Fanspeed (Single line)
I'm using v2.6 if that helps.
