WiFi gone after Update

I updated to Ubuntu 23.10 and noe WiFi doesn't work. It's not an option anywhere. Came from Jammy (Duet 1)

the only thing i can imagine (as long as the old kernel is still in place, which i guess it is as otherwise it would most probably not even boot) is that the upgrade maybe overwrote the firmware files from https://github.com/hexdump0815/imagebuilder/tree/main/systems/chromebook_kukui/extra-files/lib/firmware - maybe try to put them in place again and see if this fixes anything ... if not i guess you'll have to debug this issue as i do not have the time and do not plan to look at ubuntu before 24.04 is out.

I'm having the same issue in 24.04, thus far haven't found a fix.

Rebuilt the new kernel and manually replaced the firmware as instructed above and it ended up working ;)
