This lighting configuration is designed to minimize aggravation of migraines by lights.

The normal light routine revolves around circadian rhythms, which during the middle of the day the light change to a cool-blue white which can be extremely aggravating.

What works best for me is to turn the lights green, preferably dimmed to 25%.

Considerations:
I don't want to plunge the whole house green impacting everyone else.

Triggers:

  • I switch a light on in the house set to green.
  • Calendar event

Solution:
Track which lights have been turned on to green.

Actions:

  • In a room that has a light on and green, either turn off or turn the other lights green.
  • In the remaining rooms: Reduce the max Color temperature of the lights to 3500 (less?)
  • If triggered by light, add calendar entry.

Decisions to make:
Should Circadian lighting be turned off completely?

Notes:
Green needs to be 530nm +/- 10, which translates to
RGB: 94,255,0
XY: 0.23, 0.698
