zle widget vi-repeat-change does not work when opp.zsh is sourced

Example (please view with a monospaced font)

In vicmd without opp.zsh sourced:
pressing dE at the cursor
asdf asdf -> as asdf
==^
then executing vi-repeat-change at the cursor
as asdf -> as a
====^

This feature is simply not working when opp.zsh is sourced.

(Ugh, I know… But I forgot about this.)

Sadly yes, opp.zsh breakes the repeat command vi-repeat-change.

If not, do you have a workaround? This is another thing I thought was broken in vi-mode itself---I didn't realize it was opp.zsh :-).
