Any reason for not adding this to the "Official add-ons"?

Hi,

Any reason for not adding this to the "Official add-ons"?
I see some changes have been made to mopidy addon in GitHub this year, so I was wondering whether this is ready to be added to the official addons or it needs any additional work to get it working?

Is there any other server that one could add as add-on to home assistant to have a fully fledged MP3 server like mopidy? Maybe a MPD based one?

for MPD, look at https://github.com/Poeschl/Hassio-Addons ( simple to install and work well )
just need a iframe to be perfect

Thanks @Rapace29, I'll have a look at MPD. So far, I've mainly used Mopidy on my Raspberry PI and have been quite happy with it. However, I must say I'm running it on Raspbian, not HassOS.

Hey @frenck , I was thinking it would be great having at least one music server (Mopidy, MPD, whatever) in the list of "official add-ons". To be honest, one of the two reasons why I'm stuck with Home Assistant Core and not migrating to HassOS is the fact that there's no out-of-the box support for a music player (the other reason being Pilight server, which seems to be missing from the list as well).
Both software have been pretty stable in my Raspbian home production setup since 7 years, that's why I'm hesitating moving to HassOS.
I'm trying to make both things work in HassOS in my (very little) spare time. Once done, I might consider moving to HassOS.
