Aircast on Homeassistant will not let me play media from iphone just shows buffer overrun

Has anyone seen this problem or have any ideas.
I added aircast and now all my chromecast devices now show as aircast devices on iphone. However I can't cast any audio to any device. Video devices just show a spinning buffering screen and audio devices make that sound that it connects but never plays. The aircast log show song information being sent to device, but then logs buffer overrun errors.

I have this same issue and have never been able to get this add-on to work when initiating a stream from an iOS, Android, or MacOS device.
