Terraform Version

Terraform v0.12.0-alpha2

Terraform Configuration Files

backend.tf

terraform {
  backend "azurerm" {
  }
}

Debug Output

Crash Output

Expected Behavior

Be able to do an init and backend to be initialised

Actual Behavior

syntax error

Error: Missing required attribute

on backend.tf line 3, in terraform:
3: }
4: }

Steps to Reproduce

use azurerm provider with backend.tf config file as described above.

terraform init -backend-config=key=mykey -backend-config=storage_account_name=terraformstate -backend-config=container_name=tfstate

Additional Context

We use an Azure storage account to store the terraform state
