This issue was originally opened by @johnhamelink as hashicorp/terraform#16808. It was migrated here as a result of the provider split. The original body of the issue is below.


Yesterday Amazon released a preview of its new managed Kubernetes offering, EKS. Since quite a few people use Kops to produce their kubernetes terraform config, it would be great if terraform itself could be used to setup & maintain Amazon EKS.
